No limits
Many people are born with physical disabilities. Others, like Amy Purdy, are challenged by disabilities that came as the product of illness.
Read a short article about Amy and follow the instruction to complete a task in relation with her life.
The purpose of this task is to describe and reflect about her life and reflect about cultural attitudes toward disability through the design of a digital poster.
Technical requirements:
Internet connection and an email account.
Time: You will have 25 minutes to design a basic poster.

Instructions:
1. Read the article No Limits taken from the textbook Impact that is presented below.
2. Visit this website https://piktochart.com/ and sign up. You will need to use your email account and a password. Subscribe as an educator when or if asked.
3. Once on Piktochart choose poster from the menu. Using the information from the reading, create a poster of her life using pictures, videos and text.
4. At the bottom of the poster answer the question: Do people with any type of disability in Colombia have the same opportunities in society such in the case of Amy? You could take into account Colombian's cultural views about disability. Write no more than 100 words.
5. Finally, when you finish your poster click on the Share icon, found on the upper-left hand corner of the Piktochart page. Generate am HTML code and paste it below in the comments section. You will have to activate the button: Make this link Public.
6. Read your classmates' posters and react to them. How different was your poster? Do you agree with your classmate's views on disability in Colombia? Why?
