Hello everybody,
We hope you are fine. Last Friday October 23rd, Prof. José Aldemar Álvarez Valencia, as a special guest, gave a lecture about the role of multimodal pedagogies in the current landscape of educational research and ELT. The lecture happened at the II International Congress on Research and Pedagogical Innovation organized by Universidad Nacional Abierta y a Distancia- UNAD.
This was a very nourrishing space to discuss about the nature of communication, language learning and the upcoming challenges for teachers and stakeholders. A special remark was done in order to highlight the integration of the multimodal dimension of communication in foreign language teaching and learning. The discussions and the exchange of ideas were very fruitful!
