Some of our talks in the latest ASOCOPI Conference 2020

 Hello dear folks

The team of the SIG is glad to announce that the presentations of our members in the latest ASOCOPI Annual Conference were a total success. We had four presentation encompassing topics such as multimodality, the nonverbal dimension in intercultural education and critical pedagogy. The participation of the attendees was amazing and our presenters performed very cool talks.

 Here we would like to share with you some pictures of the presentations.  

Professor Aldemar Álvarez Valencia discussed some key concepts regarding the wide field of multimodality and very interesting activities to use in our language lessons. 

Likewise, Ángela Cordero shared the findings of her reasearch concerning the teachers' conceptions regarding the connection between Intercultural Communication and the Nonverbal Dimension of communication. 

 

In addition, Alejandro Fernández presented some alternatives to integrate the Intercultural Dimension in EFL lessons.

Furthermore, Alejandro also spoke about a pedagogical experience focused on the analysis of a historical event such as the Siege of the Justice Palace and its importance in social transformation.
